Stroytransgaz Quality Management System Successfully Audited

April 19, 2013

CJSC Stroytransgaz has passed QMS certification audits under the Russian national GOST ISO 9001-2011 and the international ISO 9001:2008 standards and was issued relevant certificates.

The certificates valid until April 2016 apply to general contractor services, construction, repairs, reconstruction and retrofitting of fuel and energy facilities and related infrastructure.

The company was audited by the Russian branch of Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspections, and certification services. The auditors visited Stroytransgaz headquarters, a construction site on the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta pipeline, and the company’s Gas Infrastructure Development independent division. Thus, the audit team covered the entire quality management process, from strategic planning to on-site operations control.

The auditors pointed out the high quality standards applied by Stroytransgaz and the company’s commitment to continuous improvement of governance and operations processes as well as the personal engagement of every employee in consistent development.

Stroytransgaz quality management system was introduced and certified under the applicable national standard in February 2011. Given that the initial certificate was nearing expiry and a revised GOST ISO 9001-2011 was issued, the company’s management decided in February 2013 to request recertification. In parallel to the certification under the Russia national standard, the company’s QMS was also certified under the international ISO 9001:2008 standard.
