CSJC Stroytransgaz Welcomed at the Sochi-2013 International Investment Forum

CSJC Stroytransgaz participated in the 12th International Investment Forum Sochi-2013 which took place in Sochi, Krasnodar region, on September 26-29.

The company presented its major project in the south of Russia, the construction of the Kazachya compressor station (the key facility of the Southern Corridor gas transmission system), and outlined its activities in the 40 regions of the country.

CSJC Stroytransgaz also sponsored a roundtable dedicated to the future of Russian regions rich in raw materials. The roundtable titled “Extractive industry regions: strategy for future generations” was attended by Alexander Novak, the Russian energy minister, Natalia Komarova, Governor of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, Alexander Khoroshavin, Governor of Sakhalin District, Alexey Miller, CEO of Gazprom, Vagit Alekperov, President of Lukoil, Jan Helge Skogen, President of Statoil ASA in Russia and many others.

Kazachya compressor station is the key facility of the Southern Corridor gas transmission system. Of all 10 compressor stations of the system only Kazachya will ensure gas treatment for transportation to Europe along the South Stream pipeline. The construction of the station is carried out in two stages. Gazprom is the investor of the project, CSJC Stroytransgaz is the major contractor for the first stage (2012-2016).
