CJSC Stroytransgaz expands its participation in infrastructure development of Power of Siberia resource base

CJSC Stroytransgaz has won a contract with Gazprom dobycha Noyabrsk LLC to develop infrastructure of the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field, which is a resource base of the Power of Siberia main oil pipeline. The contract amount makes 1.67 bln RUB.

The works will be ended in October 2016. The contract has been received as an open invitation to tender, where the application of CJSC Stroytransgaz has been considered the best.

The company will implement a number of pre-construction activities to develop the infrastructure of the oil rim of the Botuobinskaya deposit of the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field. As a part of the project, there will be implemented pad work, pile foundation installation and access motor roads` construction on the territory of the gas treatment facility, as well as temporary buildings and constructions.

Earlier CJSC Stroytransgaz has already won a contract for the infrastructure development of the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate filed. According to the aforementioned contract the company will execute of a number of works to prepare territories for preliminary gas processing terminal No.2, complex gas processing terminal No.3 and a field support base, as well as build 26.3 km of access motor roads.

The Power of Siberia is a gas transportation system to provide gas transportation from Yakutskiy and Irkutskiy centres of gas production to the Far East of Russia and China. The main gas pipeline will cover the territory of five constituent units of the Russian Federation: the Irkutsk region, the republic of Sakha (Yakutiya), the Amur region, the Jewish autonomous region, and the Khabarovsk Territory. The total length will make some 4,000 km, the design output — 38 bln m3 of gas per annum.

The Chayandinskoye field deposit is considered to be a unique one judging by the deposit size (categories С1+С2): some 1.45 trillion m3 of gas per annum and some 93 mln tons of liquid hydrocarbons (extracted). At the full field development there will be extracted up to 25 bln m3 of gas per annum and not less than 1.5 mln tons of oil per annum. The beginning of the gas production at the Chayandinskoye field deposit is planned for the end of 2018.
