The aim of the facility implementation is the cargo reception for the construction of infrastructure and development of the Chayandinskiy filed deposit – a resource base of the gas transportation system Power of Siberia. The project customer is Gazprom dobycha Noyabrsk LLC, contractor works according to the approved schedule are to be completed in June 2016.

The contract implies the implementation of complex works for a hard-surface motor road construction of 152.75 km from the tie-in point to the current commercial motor road of OJSC Surgutneftegaz up to the designed gas preparation unit of the Chayandinskiy oil and gas condensate filed. Besides, there will be built 10 metal bridges along the highway: across the Nyuya, the Syparanda, the Syr, the Chayanda rivers and the Dzhelokan, the Kurung-Yuryakh, the Orta-Sala, the Talalakan, the Ulakhan-Syuldyukeer, the Eyibdyak springs, the company will build 218 km of winter snow roads, access drives to four open-cuts, and temporary buildings, and facilities as well as.

“At the moment it is the second infrastructure facility being a part of the construction of the gas transportation system Power of Siberia, CJSC Stroytransgaz is general contractor under this contract. The services agreement has been signed upon the decision of the investor, and this is due to the fact that the company has experience in implementing complex works of fuel and energy sector facilities in difficult environment conditions without having infrastructure sites nearby. In particular, the company has earlier fulfilled similar complicated projects in the Far East and in the north of the central part of Russia”, remarked Vladimir Kartashyan, General Director of CJSC Stroytransgaz.

CJSC Stroytransgaz is one of the leading construction companies of Russia implementing high technology “turn-key” oil and gas projects; a construction partner with major projects including the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean oil pipeline, Baltic Pipeline System 2, the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas pipeline system, the Southern Corridor gas pipeline system including the compressor station Kazachya.

The Power of Siberia is a gas transportation system to provide gas transportation from Yakutskiy and Irkutskiy centres of gas production to the Far East of Russia and China. The main gas pipeline will cover the territory of five constituent units of the Russian Federation: the Irkutsk region, the republic of Sakha (Yakutiya), the Amur region, the Jewish Autonomous Region, and the Khabarovsk Territory. The total length will make some 4,000 km, the design output — 38 bln m3 of gas per year.

The Chayandinskoye field deposit is considered to be a unique one judging by the deposit size (categories С1+С2): some 1.45 trillion m3 of gas and some 93 mln tons of liquid hydrocarbons (extracted). At the full field development there will be extracted up to 25 bln m3 of gas per year and not less than 1.5 mln tons of oil per year. The beginning of the gas production at the Chayandinskoye field deposit is planned for the end of 2018.
