Training centre of CJSC Stroytransgaz receives NAKS accreditation

The training and production centre in the city of Gagarin being a subdivision of CJSC Stroytransgaz received an accreditation from the National Welding Control Agency (NAKS) for the provision of special training and welding specialists` certification. Earlier this kind of attestation has been fulfilled by a contracting entity.

The NAKS accreditation will enable the company to maximum enhance the number of professional welding training levels and begin together with the NAKS the certification of welders, welding operators and engineering and technical staff in the training and production centre taking into consideration additional requirements from different institutions and companies of the Russian Federation.

Besides, CJSC Stroytransgaz on the basis of its training and production centre in the city of Gagarin, is going to render attestation services of welding technology, welding materials and equipment for third parties participating in the construction of fuel and energy sector infrastructure.

“Training and production centres in the cities of Gagarin and Tomsk are unique projects considering their facilities for fuel and energy sector market. They enable us to teach 4,000 specialists per year for 38 blue-collar jobs. The company`s investment into the centres` arrangement, fitting with modern equipment and machines will let the company render services to third-party entities and facilitate professional growth of specialists in the whole industry. This year we are also going to get the NAKS accreditation for our training centre in the city of Tomsk”, remarked Vladimir Kartashyan, General Director of CJSC Stroytransgaz.

The centre is fitted with welding equipment, machines, mechanical treatment equipment, welding and main material preparation machines, as well as a demonstration facility to practise the steps of a pipeline construction using automatic welding system.

Attested specialists get certificates and a NAKS record confirming their permit to implement welding at production sites in accordance with the requirements of the current regulatory and technical documentation.
